RTC Events Management
Following the success of the Revit Technology Series in Australasia, the potential to expand the brand into other continents was evident and consequently RTC Events Management (RTCem) was formed. RTCem operates conferences and workshops in Australasia, North America and Europe, encouraging and facilitating the sharing of knowledge amongst the Building Information Modelling (BIM) Industry.
Revit Technology Conference
The Revit Technology Conference (RTC) is an annual event designed to cater to the needs of the BIM community. Founded and run by users of Autodesk® Revit® software, RTC is the pre-eminent educational and networking event for BIM users worldwide. It is dedicated to the use of BIM tools, processes and workflows and other associated software in the architecture, engineering and construction industries.
RTC is a unique, independent conference covering all things BIM and the whole ecosystem that supports it, and that goes to ensuring your success in the marketplace. No other event brings so many opportunities and benefits together in a single location. As a 'by users, for users' event, RTC is the best place to get unvarnished advice from the people who use the technologies to drive their businesses, and the industry as a whole, forward. In 2011 RTCem not only held its annual Australasian event, but also broke into the North American market holding its first event in Huntington Beach, California. in 2013, the inaugural RTC Europe event was held in Delft, the Netherlands
2014 marks the tenth year of RTC events, and sees 5 events being held across three continents, with conferences in Melbourne, Chicago and Dublin, and workshops (DTS, below) in Denver and Chicago.
RTC Design Technology Summit
The RTC Design Technology Summit (DTS) is a daylong event bringing together professionals from large firms in the building Architecture and Engineering (AE) design industry who have a responsibility for managing and implementing design technology. The design world is a constantly evolving landscape driven by the adoption of BIM tools, availability of increased computing power, the ubiquity of mobile solutions and “always on” data access. These new paradigms challenge the traditional operations of AE firms and have resulted in a new domain of expertise at the intersection of technology and practice. DTS is a forum to share, to challenge, and to refine our thinking. The inaugural event was held in July 2013, and is now held twice yearly in North America.
The Building Content Summit
The Building Content Summit is an event dedicated to improving BIM content. We invite you to be an influencer in this inaugural event where you will learn a different perspective, set trends, and connect with peers. The summit brings together individuals representing three groups: Designers, Manufacturers and Service Providers (Platform Developers, Content Creators).
